Here is a place where we can meet and share ideas about how to help this happen. Tell stories. Make suggestions. Meet each other. And maybe rave with each other's kids,or whatever a hangout might findout.

Issues,updates and ideas about preserving the Sailing Ship 'Fri'-- (ex 'Anne Margrethe') of Svendborg, Denmark. An association is being formed to own maintain,and operate the ship out of her builder's yard Ring-Andersens in conjunction with the Maritime Center in Svendborg. Hello dear friends of Fri
While this rescue operation is under weigh, here's a place to share ideas, stories, plans, criticism to help make the transition go well.
It is time for Fri to find her way with others at the helm. Where will her great spirit go...?
I'm not much of a blog maker, and will herewith present Leif Schou, my friend from Denmark, who is helping to midwife this blog. He has suggested that there may be Fri folk who would like to have some of the responsibility for editing and keeping this leaking blog afloat. Good luck and good winds
It's wonderfull to see this projeckt rising with so much power. It is my hope, that David's blog can become the start of a re- internet-gathering of all you lucky people that share the experiences of Fri. An online community, a movement, a reunion, a source of power?
David has had his strugles here in Denmark, but at last, it seems like the table is turning and Fri is on the course, bound for a real future, wind in those old sails.
Meantime, David is fighting as a digital imigrant, to get on top of these Medias, and he is doing so fine, navigating the seas and oceans of the internet close up to a real digital native. Really, nothing can hold that man back !
